Students With Disabilities

Career Program for Students With Disabilities (CPSD) is a collaborative program between Career Services and Disability Services at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Any student with a documented disability is eligible to participate. Individual sessions with a Disability Services counselor help students explore career interests and identify one organization they would like to work for. By doing a "job analysis", special challenges are identified and strategies discussed. The student can then meet with a Career Services counselor to discuss the internship/job search process and practice interviewing skills. Accommodation issues can be discussed at this time.

The Career Program for Students with Disabilities (CPSD) provides work experiences for CU-Boulder students and recent graduates with disabilities. Students who choose to participate meet individually with CPSD staff to learn about career planning and disability issues. After completion of the individual sessions, students locate internships and may be paid a stipend provided by CPSD. A limited number of stipends are available.
