Check Out Career Services for Master's and Doctoral Students

In partnership with the CU-Boulder Graduate School, Career Services has a professional career counselor and program coordinator focusing specifically on the unique career development needs and concerns of graduate students. We offer the following services:

Individual, Confidential Career Counseling. Meet with a career counselor to discuss the job search and a range of alternative career options for graduate students. Career and Internship Fairs & Employer Info Sessions. Hundreds of business, government, and nonprofit employers visit the CU-Boulder campus each year, and many are interested candidates with advanced degrees. Events can be found on the Career Services calendar.
Career Development Timeline for Doctoral Students (PDF) offers examples of career-related activities that a doctoral student might engage in during their doctoral program. This general timeline may vary depending upon discipline. Career Services Online. Career Buffs is your electronic gateway to many non-academic job and internship listings, as well as on campus interviewing schedules.
Department Specific Career Workshops are planned in collaboration with graduate students and faculty to provide information for academic and post academic job search. Workshop formats may be presentations, panel discussions, and networking forums. Join LINKED IN Career Services at the University of Colorado at Boulder has created a networking group through LinkedIn that we invite anyone associated with CU-Boulder to join.
Graduate Student Quick Tips contain helpful information on CV and resume differences, job search and interviewing. Recommendation Letters. Interfolio is the premier online credentials management service and is the easiest and most affordable way to send academic credentials to a search committee or application materials to graduate and professional schools.
