If you prefer to seek assistance outside of CU-Boulder or do not qualify for assistance, there are numerous resources to assist you with your career development.
  • Government-Sponsored Workforce Centers assist you with finding a career at no charge. To locate a workforce center near you, go to: http://www.workforcesecurity.doleta.gov/map.asp
  • Private practice career counselors. If you are in the CO region, there is a list on the Colorado Career Development website: http://www.coloradocareerdevelopment.org/
  • Community and church-based job search support groups
  • Community education programs, including at your local Chamber of Commerce
  • YWCAs offer career counseling and guidance and many provide career-related resources for both men and women, including the Boulder YWCA.
  • Career Services at local universities (some offices are open to the general public)
