Intern Supervisor Training

Career Services offers an intern supervisor training every semester. Contact Lisa.Lovett@colorado.edu for more information.

Why hire an intern?
What are the top ten concerns that interns have?
Are there any legal issues to be aware of when hiring interns?

Attend this fun, half-day seminar and learn the answers to these questions and more!

You will learn how to define your organization's needs, market your internship, select candidates, and develop a learning objectives plan. Other topics include how to manage and mentor interns, criteria for evaluating your student interns, and ways to evaluate your program.

The seminar fee is just $40 ($25 for non-profits), which includes a handy guidebook.

The next session will be held on Thursday, March 15th from 9am-noon in the Center For Community on the CU-Boulder campus. Log into to CSO and search for "Intern Supervisor Training" under events to sign up!
