Career Transitions Denver Workshop – Fall Session

If you are going through a job transition or expecting one, if you are retired but don’t really want to be, if you want to start a new business – or just not sure what you want to do: join us for the Career Transitions workshop. After 5 years and hundreds of participants, our blended approach uses coaching, self-discovery and technology to:

• Use a wide variety self-assessment tools
• Develop career branding, resumes and marketing
• Create a career management strategy
• Learn about online career tools
• Expand your network
• Develop an action plan for “what’s next” in your life and career

The Career Transitions Workshop fee is $229 and includes a copy of the book Turning Points: Managing Career Transitions with Meaning & Purpose (co-authored by CU Career Services Director, Dr. Lisa Severy), a 1-year subscription to the True Path™ online tool, and all 4 workshop sessions. The workshop will be led by Mike Ballard, Senior Career Consultant with the IMPACT Group and Executive Director of Turning Points Research Institute.

The Denver workshop starts on October 28
The next workshop will be held at UC Denver on the Auraria campus. The workshop will be held in (4) 3-hour evening sessions from 6:30 to 9:30 pm on the following Wednesdays; October 28th, November 4 and 18th, and December 2nd. Between sessions, participants will read the book and work with the online tool to prepare for class activities.
